Matt Cutts on this Pagerank update and other interesting things.

I know a lot of people stopped following the completely skeptical PR sticky thread but someone asked on matt cutts blog regarding any pr news and got this reply:

So, I think we can put an end to the "end of PR" speculations and just get on with our lives. This is the second time he has brushed it aside as "possibly a few weeks if not more"

I think you all should subscribe to the google (specifically matt cutts as he's relatively honest) blogs for all the latest information on the ins and outs of google and Page rank.

His latest blog also talks about the demise of some of the best SE's back in the day... very interesting read.

I'd be more interested in Matt saying why the delay, but it's better to hear some news then none at all.

 

sounds like he repeated himself...I think he quoted the same exact sentence a few weeks ago.

Prepare for 1st November he will be saying:

"I don’t expect a full PageRank update for at least a few more weeks, and possibly next spring."

Visible PR is dead, invisible PR is the way to go!

Not just november, but then december and january as well... haha

 

The last few public PR updates have occurred at intervals of about 3 months. The last one was at the end of July, and although it was very small, it was still a PR update. So if the 3 month interval pattern continues to hold, the next public update should come at the end of this month, so about Oct 31.

Yea, I get tired of all the conspiracy / speculation threads poping up every hour, The only thing we can go with is the truth - don't believe anything you see / hear unless its from the the source itself

 

Matt Cutts said that a few weeks ago.

I would say that they are busy with other things and the pr export isn't so important.

I see that another one bites the dust. Wisenut has been closed.

I'm disappointed because i expected what Matt told us on september 6th was true. Now, it's nothing but yet another hint: even worst that he's just rephrasing the words from an earlier hint.

 

correct me if im wrong but hasnt he been saying that for a while i have never visited his blog but geez he needs to change the subject it happens when it happens

 

It was true. Now he is saying the same thing because it continues to be true.
