When talking about quality links which links have high value directories, comment posting on blog, forums posting or social bookmarking. What is your opinion on this?
I think its actually depends on the site itself. It doesn't matter if is it from directories, blog,etc.. as long your are linking with a relevant site
It is totally depends on your site's theme, if you have webmaster related site than links for webmaster related site with high PR and less outbound links on that page will help more to boost ranking.
High Pagerank, low outbounds and your desired anchor is the most important.. Dont get too hung up on theme for organic SERPs.
How important is having your keyword in the anchor link as opposed to just having your url as a backlink?
It depend if you want to rank for your domain name or your keyword. This explains how high-PR sites can be easily beaten in the SERPs by a lower PR page-it doesn't matter if you have ten thousand links, if the anchors are all to your domain, that's all you'll rank for.
