    This is mainly a phpld fan club here and people will tell you to go for phpld all the time. I'll give you the facts and the truth. I work for phpLynx which is a script that for the best part is free, it has free support, no need to add mods or rely on programmers etc and has dozens more features than phpld. It will always be your choice on what you want to use but one word of advice. phpld is one of the most duplicated scripts on the planet, many users have the same templates because they are free, many use the same category structures, and many use the same bad marketing techniques.

    That said, you'll either have made your decision even before posting or after listening to your own mind. I'm not here to shove phpLynx down your throat, I don't get paid for that, I'm here to tell you the truth, phpLynx is without question the best free software on the planet, if I can be challenged on that then I welcome that as we can learn from these challenges. :)

    im going to try phplynx one day. I have yet to see it used well anywhere. There is some issues with your demo site, in the footer. Also an admin panel demo would be useful. After that i will consider buying it and trying a free directory with it:)

    Your sure to get a lot of bias towards phpld on this forum aint that a fact, as for examples of directories using phpLynx, there's about 3,000 of them out there most with backlinks taken away so can't really point you to them, www.allabouthomes.ca is one I remember that I liked, good luck.

    lmao; never advertise yourself as having a free version if you don't. you have one that offers Limitation: support up to 100 links, no source code, false advertising or what!!! What's the 'Unique' features you offer btw, I couldn't find any?

    @phenix
    Please don't be so cruel :)

    It's true the free version is limited up to 100 links. But it still work even you have more links, but the script will force an annoying banner on top to encourage user to upgrade. If you have no more than 100 links, it will be no ads at all.

    Further more, sudarshan1210 is asking for free and paid script, so my answer is so relevant.

    Yep, I know, I've tried it, nothing worse than trying to blackmail users into upgrading so don't call it free call it a limited demo with incentives. ;) Not cruel btw, just stating facts.
