Ok the Google gr was organized a meeting in greece in order to promote adwords in the hotelier assocation in Greece i was there.Of course i didnt get any answers in every question i ask from the represent of big G in greece wich was talking through a videowall so it wasnt there.The one thing i learn was that when G is talking about paid links is talking not for directories (because directories is meant to have links) he actually say that G will penalize link farms and only link farms and site that obviously have paid links.And the report paid links it is not going to effect any site that have pay for links,maybe it devaluate the link but not the site.That was the only i can configure for sure after mmmaaany many questions.
I did more certain and easy questions and i dont get a straight answer do you think that if i did this question they would start to analyze me how the algo of paid links will work in order to give to them fair results???

blogart, there are apparent flaws in his "news". Why would adwords team talk about paid links. In google, every department works differently and they dont discuss anything outside their own department. Its highly unlikely that adwords rep would even talk about Pagerank. I would love to see some proof to back those claims.

Here is the information on penalizing the directory selling page rank: Regarding juice you will just need to do some research on either a site or a page basis.. Google do not list banned sites.. Load of tools out and about that "guess" the quality of sites. Look at the url in the directory if you see MFA or affiliates sites or just low quality then keep away imho.. I run a UK directory and reject some 70-80% of submissions due to being "crap" site imho... Other pointers to consider are casino / porn links = keep away for me.... One of the main things which make you a seo as the fact you can tell the difference between a link that will be counted vs just a link.. My main tip is, think of the directory as a website... Is it useful.. Would you say to people its good, let your kids on it, show your mother in law etc.. If yes then go ahead and submit imho... If you are talking about incoming links to your site, this is not a problem. You are not penalized for incoming links to your site, only ones going out of your site. Good luck..

Ok i was in a bussines trip thats why i didnt answer your questions. First of all adwords team dont give me any tips about seo or pagerak or whatever.I was talking with some people that G actually cooperates with them in order to promote adwords!!!And in my opinion is better to talk and listen carefully the words come from their mouth than a guy in a forum on internet.2nd:have pay for a review in a directory doesnt make it Paid Link!!!as they make me understand!3rd can anyone tell me a site that was penalised because it was buying links????(not a site that was selling links). Of course i dont have any man in G.I am just share the conclusion i came up after making a 2 hours talk with guys work or cooperate in G.I didnt get any straight answers but that was what i was able to understand from all general questions i made.
so who were the guys you TALKED to. You confused me more now are they working for google or some SEO guy telling u all this?
Some of these are working in G.But the more straight answers i take them from people that REALLY COOPERATE with GOOGLE.And i Mean they are OFFICIALY cooperate with Google.And the meeting wasnt for SEO or anything like that it was for adwords but i chat with one guy that cooperates with G for at least 1 hour asking him many questions.
I got it. You prolly spoke to guys who are promoting adwords in your country. They are adwords certified guys but i guess they are not from Google.
