A new website has sprung up http://www.freekatemccann.com/ Registered by Domains by proxies, which is quite a rare thing really in the UK. Also findmadeline.com was registered, you guessed it, also by Domains by proxies.... Most of the UK were just starting to believe that she wasn't going to do porridge, but K and G now must have resigned themselves to this.
YEAH! Free her now! (when she gets arrested). She shouldn't be in jail! (if she ever goes). I agree completely!! (well i would if it wasn't entirely based on events that have not and may not happen). That aside. if she does go to jail i predict that adsense will magically appear on that page in about 6 minutes. The whole thing has turned in to a circus. I ride the bus to work and every shop has "look for Madeline" posters in the window. Where am i supposed to look? There is little chance anyone living in London is going to find her. It's just people jumping on the band-waggon and pretending that they give a shit when really their only motive is to profit from a missing girl. EDIT: I just realised they didn't waste any time. There is a huge ad banner on that page already. (that's ad-blindness for ya)
People travel to & from London, you do know that? so posters anywhere help (although i believe she is dead) Did you think they just put them up for you?

Regretably its all about commercialism looking for the little girl is a minor distraction to all the money that can be made from adsense and adverts etc These type of sites suck

I just had a look and there is also a www.freegerrymccann.com site Could they possibly be guilty after all the donations and worldwide support? That would be shocking. The "Don't worry Maddy, we're here to support mummy and daddy" quote is really cheesy, I doubt that I could have come up with anything more cheesier myself.
Look again. This is an offical site with a blogg administered by Kate and Jerry (sounds like a fifties cartoon) not a profit one, which I agree would be sick.
How do you know it's official? I don't see how it can be not for profit when they have an enormous advert on the homepage.
Good point. Is it the offical website? How can we proove it? I have only been going on third party here say which is police and press, which tends to come a few says before the UK papers. So yes it could be a fake. I personally don't think it is though, it's Godaddy and so was the origional site. If it is a profiteer, then generaly they have their details on whois, so that that they can sell. Good point though, but don't know the answer.
There is no way that site is official, If it were official it would just have a blank screen or picture of Maddy until its required for use. If it were official it would say so. If it were official it would be so bad taste its untrue. Its just someone trying to profit out of someone elses misery. How did you find out about it?

I know how to do the whois I use whois.sc but this one is protected domains by proxy .... and if its protected it should stay that way.
