Hi im the new owner of scammed.us lol. It looks like this site has had a few owners and Im the latest one who would never steal a script or anything like this. Honestly I think your a little high on life about your script. This is not a copy of your script, but is the same idea. People all over the world have similar sites lol. Look at all the myspace, facebook, video clones out there. The email you sent me and how you call me derogatory statements is not a very professional thing to do as well.

I haven't spent too much time on scammed.us since i bought it expect for some database changes and how the site is run with approvals etc.

Yes there isn't a lot of content on the site yet. I have to turn down file reports daily because there are so many ridiculous reports filed as on your site.

There is a lot of nonsense on suckered us lol. I mean cmon!! Scammed.us is to be a legit site with legit claims of people who have been scammed! Scammed.us will be a site that you can check before you do business with online companies.

If your site is copyright or trademarked or whatever then maybe you do have a claim. However do not send me one more email calling me a douchebag or threatening to sue me.

You should contact people in a more professional way in the future if you hope they will comply with your demands.

Scammed.us didn't launch any kind of a site until Months after we launched our script.

Read the post above yours. Regardless if the scammed.us was launched months afters yours it doesn't really matter. You could invent the newest thing and if it wasn't patented it could be taken right out from under you. Not that I would do that, but i believe thats they way it goes. So anyway Im going to bed. If you want to continue this you can check my updated registrar info and give me a call. Thanks for bringing that to my attention as well, i forgot to change that info when the site was transfered to me a few months ago. LIke you said my site has like 5 reports and isnt much competition for yours. Either way I bought scammed.us because I saw the potential it offered to alert others of potential scammers. I have been scammed a few times before and its the worst feeling! I hope both of our sites can warn others of the scammers that are out there.

What we can say is the wayback machine clearly shows our script launching months before yours.
Also you had a prior domain reg on a non related domain name but that is all (Just clarifying)


We had the idea launched before your domains previous owner, but we aren't going to cause you any issues. We've no reason to .. If you bought the site it's not your fault therefor we won't bother with anything.

We'll politely delete the subdomain.

We have one of our offices in the US so we're quite fine.

I guess anyone can "suckered us" in and we are no further ahead to know who speaks the truth... best to hire a great attorney and let the courts sort it out!

But an "idea" can't be copyright nor trademark... so that "approach" is worthless.

 

I removed it Fathom out of good nature. If he bought the domain / site which it does appear he did from someone else then he's not the person using our idea knowingly. It would be illogical to take it out on him therfor we removed the link to keep harm from his purchase / site.

 

It would be good to edit the opening post... (or have this thread deleted) since it suggests the same thing you removed... and clearly there is no reason for it to be here anymore.

You are a real piece of work, suckered. I hope RJ sues you for defamation of character. NP is one of the more professional forums around, with staff that work hard to keep it a nice place. Laying the blame for losing money on your site on another site is just plain stupid. As is expecting a refund of 'thousands' of dollars you supposedly spent there. If you have to go offline for an extended time it was your responsibility to take your site offline or hire someone to watch over it.

By posting that link about NP you have only proven what a joke your site is... and those people that have been banned, they were banned for a good reason (like people usually get banned for a good reason here as well).

 

Do you think we care? SecondV above is a mod on namepros trashing our thread here. We oblidged in return. RJ himself tried to add us to myspace friends today. He knows how to contact me.

We have our take. If they can sit on their forums (Mods at NP especially being so called professional as you put it) and keep harmful lying posts alive and even contributing after a cease and decist was sent - Good Luck RJ suing us. In fact we welcome the attempt. RJ took our money. Kept the crap on his site after a cease and decist and still has it up Therfor our side is posted as well in the same manner. If they're such brilliant mods they'd realize they can't even determine a member from France from a Member from Canada. Anytime RJ requests a copy of my picture ID and birth certificate I'll happily oblige him however until then I'd suggest keeping your bandwagon jumping to be limited because it's entirely wrong.
We've also noted the total disregard from the staff there about the judgment of DP mods which is rediculous. DP mods are far more professional in a business perspective. Do DP mods make posts about how crappy NP mods and the NP site is as a whole? No. It's noted however that's the opinion of namepros mods on their own forum about DP staff.

Regardless unless you're RJ or the owner of scammed.us this really is none of your business since the original post title has been solved.
We weren't going to mention that until it was mentioned above. This was totally unrelated to the post title.

You sound like an 8 year old, you complain about sites, but then as soon as someone complains about your site, your all over them.

As for why we created the site you can "speculate" all you want. You have no idea.

Anyhows this is between RJ and us (The namepros issue) and the scammed.us issue is non existant now so this thread is now pointless and closeable.

 

You do know that alot of DP members are also NP members right? Alot of people here will start thinking twice before helping you with something.

He cant do #### just because someone stole his idea. People make clone sites of anything that is somewhat interesting to them, like youtube, myspace. You dont see youtube sueing people for making websites where users can upload their videos, and you dont see myspace sueing every other myspace clone.

 

What the hell do you expect, when you falsely defame a business... when its a respected community of coarse people will come to its defense.
