MTV's slowly coming back around (there doing an Aesop Rock marketing Campaign for his new cd).... And Nico I design in my spare time, I only come to this site for shits and giggles because everything ass backwards; people want everything for nothing and Web 2.0 is still seen as amazing.... smh.
I mostly listen only to rap/hip-hop. Classic albums get most play on my ipod, i can even stand Fifty, but hate to see dudes that are screaming "wipe me down", "ay bay bay" and "crank that yuuuuullll" or whatewer that it is all over BET, I call it inflation of hip hop. btw check my sig
Have to agree with you there. I grew up listening to hip hop. My first rap cd was Warren G. My boyfriend makes fun of me because I would rather listen to some oldies but goodies than some of the crap they are playing nowadays. Not that there aren't still some great artists in hip hop today...but where it used to be hard to find a rapper you hated...now its hard to find a new one that you love. 2Pac, Mac Dre, (rest in peace) Warren G, Snoop, Dr. Dre, they are still around bringing with em some great music. I know there are many more, but those are a few of my faves
