Is there not room for these people to be exploited through the businesses posing as a mentor but actually using the directory and the person behind that directory? I cant imagine the the people being mentored would make much from doing it or is it just a stepping stone for them in learning business? in the sense that they gain more skill and knowledge to move onto other things in the future. I guess what im asking is are they learning the directory and online business? or is it a program to teach business skills? if its the latter, then i can understand them gaining business knowledge from it in the long term. Something tells me these are teenagers? in your home country or a developing country?
We are way off topic but what the heck. There is no reason for anyone to exploit anyone at this stage. The directory master of Eco Guides is a sixty year old environmentalist who has no pension and an uncertain future. Lungisa our student is a school leaver who as almost zero chance of finding a job. The businesses we have involved get spin off advertising from the media exposure we get and it works well, bar the odd bump here and there. When it comes time for the directory masters to go solo all it means is that we will have access to an expanding network where we have real incentives to continue working together and we will suck a new batch of recruits in at the other end. What can go wrong............?
Workshop, all is good but can you tell me why with so much free stuff thses guys are working on something that looks like an 80's commodore computer would make ? Surley if your for real with helping these people with creating a business that supports them you would at least make the presenation more suitable to the end viewer. just wondering ?
Its ok to stay off topic for the moment, we can both apologise to the OP at the end. Theres usually no reason to exploit, but for some the temptation can be too strong and the 2 people mentioned as examples sound vunerable indeed. Lungisa doesn't sound english so im taking a guess that he/she is in a developing country or at least somewhere where they get paid less. Im in the UK and this doesn't sound like it would work if it was setup for young people in UK as unless it led to more, then the indivuduals would quickly lose motivation. You could cut them loose now, let them go solo and still have a network that can be used by yourselves, their situations currently sound quite desperate and desperate people are open to exploitation. Do they have contracts with you and are they legally bound by anything to stay with you for a specific time?
Please never open an internet browser ever again. People like you make life difficult for people that don't try to cheat the system, and make $1million in one day.
This is unfair and particularly coming from this forum. DP was singled out for special treatment by Google because certain people with huge influence, actually thought that this is the way the world worked and that they would get away with it. You and there are others are trying to do something about that but lets just recognise the bit parts we all played in the run up to this brave new world we are trying to give birth to. I am startng a new thread to answer your questions. I cant afford many more infractions and seem to attract red reps like flies. Its deliberate, its controversial and like bobby9101 I am trying to get a message through to the people I work with to say that we need to be different.
