The Live search engine isn't good becuase it doesnt index anything, Lol, 2 months later and my sites are still not indexed in Live.
So yahoo, live, ask, altavista, dogpile and the rest thousnad can't even catch up to google and your SE will be the google killer! What a laugh Anyways post the link to it when its finished
Are you actually coding this bad boy yourself then, or is it just a script you have bought/downloaded?
What budget did you have for this project, because if it's going to be a Google Killer, how you going to pay for the millions of dollars a month in bandwidth when their customers come to you. I doubt you can use AdSense ? How are you expecting to pay for expenses? How long until it launches?
Ok, lets say the completely off chnce you come even CLOSE to beating google. Like say you make 1 billion a year (pffff) They'd probably over you 5-10 billion in cash and I don't think you'd turn that down. Personally I would because I hate google... If I took any offer- it would be 30 billion in cash upfront - money they don't have

Yes, and? It's not a waste of time really, if you do it right = money, not what I am after. I'm doing it for fun and expience.

If you handle 0.5% of searches per yer, you'll need thousands of GB of bandwith/month maybe even millions..
