Selling pre-built blog networks -- is there a market for this?

I have around 50 writers in my company and I've been kicking around the idea of selling pre-built/pre-stocked/pre-promoted blog networks using subdomains. Is there a market for these types of networks? Each blog would focus on a niche and would have many existing entries as well as advance posted (via date stamp function at WP) entries. Each entry is original and checked through copyscape. Each blog is registered at over 300 directories. Plus, a couple of week's work of social media marketing for the whole network is thrown in.

Anyone have any idea re how to price such a network?

I am sure that there would be an interest if the blog gets a decent pr (atleast 3-4) The vaue would be higher if you used different domains instead of sub domains. I also think there is a bigger interest for nische blog networks focusing on different areas of a certain niche such as a helth blog network.

Is this an idea you've conceptualized, or have you actually created such blog networks, and tracked their results?

I think most people want the fish instead of learning how to fish. They''ll pay more for a blog that can give them high ranking and has unique content...

As long as it brings in the traffic.

If you can give compelling proof that your system brings in good traffic, I think you'll have a very hungry market to satisfy!

Interesting points (specially re domains vs. subdomains). Basically a DEEP VERTICAL on a restricted range of topics. Also, we do know how to drive traffic so I'm sure the value increases if the pre-built network already has traffic/subscribers.

Jason: Yeah, we've done this on a much smaller scale, just testing out the waters for a) larger scale b) product with more inputs installed (ie., existing traffic, PR, etc) and c) testing how elastic the market is and what potential buyers' needs would be.

Do you guys think that exclusivity would be a big factor?
