Yeah. I have 3 websites created within the last 6 months. One has 1500 backlinks, one has 900 and one has 400 but they still have a PR of 0. Just wait until the PR update, no one knows for sure when it will be but it should be before the end of november, probably sooner.
Have you submitted the sitemap.xml to Google? If not then do it. It will give you the correct picture of the page rank of each page of your website as well as many other vital details direct from Google! Again, page rank is not just the number of links but the quality and relevancy has much more to do with page rank. So, go ahead and evaluate the back links from quality and relevancy perspective. I hope this answers your question.
this may help: sign up for Google Webmaster tools and select the Goggle Sitemaps... create your sitemap and make sure sitemap.xml is uploaded to your site's root directory (where your index page is ) any time you add new content or add new pages, etc..update your sitemap this tool alone is pure gold! I'm not sure if it gets your ranking quicker but it is a MUST have tool
There hasn't been an update for over 150 days (around that I think) which was before you website was created. There should be another update by the end of November, then it will be updated.
google did not update pr yet. and dont care the pr. just continue to work on your site. you will have pr when google update it
