You're right, i received a verification email a few days ago and was really pist when i saw the 404, but after removing the subdomain it works like a charm. Thanks for pointing that out, someone should send them a email about this.
I think they should be contacted about this mess up. Infact I am going to contact them about it as they most likely don't know about the issue.
