As we know, oil is the main energy all over the world. Who control oil, will be control the world. But a man of science say that it will end in the next 50 years.
How can we live when there are no oil? Other energy is so expensive or dangerous.

we buy new cars and life goes on. Actually if your car runs on diesel then you can just use biodiesel, no need for new car:D

There's still a lot of fossil fuels like coal and natural gas. The fossil fuels are bad for the environment. Donkeys aren't so bad and they are cheap and need no spare parts.

There are many alternatives that have not been allowed to develop as OIL spells big money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and these guys want to milk that for all its worth at the expense and exclusion of all most anything else

Alternatives have been crippled by governments and the Oil Barons

I highly doubt there will be no oil in the next 50 years, i have a close friend whos been in the oil business for 20 years and his dad also has been working there before him. I asked them about it and they said theres no way we will see oil depleted in our lifetime. Theres still alot of oil they hasnt been drilled.

I read this in the newspaper. We can found them but can not get them. It is in the deepest see. Can not get it out. I think nuclear is the best choice. But it is dangerous.

The same scientists who predict the end of oil must also be working on some alternate source of energy. The law of survival will catch up with all of us and we will come out with something.

The oil that you eat is not the same that runs your car... there will be plenty of eating oil.
nuclear technology is perfectly safe. civil nuclear reactors are designed in the way that if any malfunction occurs the fuel rods will melt but will not blast.
The accident in Chernobyl was rare and due to human negligence of certain quality issues. The only problem with Nuclear power is the recycling of the waste, that can be solved by reusing the waste.
Other alternatives of the oil are Solar energy, Water energy and Chemical energy. 50 years is a long time, just look at last 50 years, and see where have we reached and from where. I am sure they will find better and cheap alternatives till the time comes.

Well then there will be wars for uranium..... Human greed is unlimited.

These things are made by different carbon compounds such as polyathelene or PVC. These carbon compounds can be made and substituted by lab production. besides there are many other alternatives as we already see the plenty of Fiber glass being used instead of carbon fiber/plastic.
They use petro-chemicals because its cheaper right now, but by the time we run short on petroleum there will be cheaper alternatives.

Yeah, and if there were a choice between no electricity or nuclear power, even with the associated problems (like an occasional Chernobyl ), most people would opt for nuclear power. France reportedly gets about 80% of its electricity from nuclear plants. If you made the cars electric, you don't need oil. The down side is that you do have nuclear waste...

there really isn't a whole lot of waste.

unfortunately, carter signed a law in the 70's the prevents the US from recycling fuel rods like france does, so our nuclear waste is higher than france.

nuclear power is really the only way to go in the future.

here's newt gingrich with an excellent speech on nuclear power:
