There's a post pushing it in the "Link Sales" forum: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=477444 Is this just another automated link system that will get your site dropped into a bad neighborhood, or does it have real merit? I'd like an SEO expert to try to explain to me how this is different from the other automated systems out there that have met an unpretty end when Google killed their site and many of their members' sites. An old (but tired) cliche comes to mind: "If it seems too good to be true, it pro........"
I personally didn't like the sound of that website, any link exchange program, where it requires you to put code or a file on your site, leaving a nice little paper trail for google to figure out you used that service, is no good for me. I only use link exchange services, that allow me to get in touch with owners of websites on similar topics, but we have to handle the exchange on our terms, using our own resource pages, etc. That keeps everything much nicer imo, because it is just like you contacted them via e-mail. Also these days, I advise against purchasing links from any website like this, Google is really taking a stance against people buying links from websites like Text-Link-Ad's, which claim that purchasing their links will improve your SERP(s), And the website Tnx.net is claiming the same, right on their homepage. I would stay away.
That's along the same lines I was thinking. Even though the claim is that there is no trail for Google to follow, I'm ambivalent. The site itself has a PR of zero, but they already have an inventory of 33 million pages? Maybe it's the TLA inventory being rebranded and remarketed. I think I'm going to stay away from this.
Register in the system, get your free points and try it out yourself. Don't want to waste your time, well, then I don't want to waste mine explaining you how things work. TNX does not require you to install the code on the website that is being advertised. You need to install the untraceable code in order to sell links from your own website. You better do, because at TNX those who don't read and don't know basics of SEO, don't stay for long. I advise you learn that TNX is just a third party between publishers and advertisers. This is basic stuff to understand, and it looks like you don't get it. This opinion is not based on your own experience because you don't have any.
