Atheism is a religion as much as any of the others. Atheism points out, correctly, that there is no "god." Other than that, it's not much different than any other religion.
Not having a god is a choice not a religion. It doesn't make people evolve their lives around it. People don't go to churches, mosques or synagogues to be an atheist. Why people think it is a religion is beyond me. I think its a way of the 'religious' people making themselves feel better.
