    Are you talking about redirects? Or traffic reports?
    Here is the php code to redirect to a different site/page:

    <?php
    header( 'Location: http://www.yoursite.com/new_page.html' ) ;
    ?>
    PHP:

    Hi there,

    No, I am not talking about the redirects.

    I mean what's the best way to send the visitors (who come on the forum) to the main domain.

    Your sarcasm is not as funny as you probably though it would be. I am fairly sure he has a link, but I think he is asking about ways to increase click through.

    erm.. to be honest, logylaps told you the best option... otherwise just upload a index.html file to the directory saying the new place is *blah*.
    You can't do any better.

    I think an eye-catching big banner on a prominent position should work.

    Well if it's a forum on the subdomain, you can post a forum-wide message letting people know about the main site.

    You could also just place a big banner on the header of your forum to let people know.
