I honestly don't think a peace can ever be reached, there are too many factors & forces at play in that region, getting all the right conditions for peace is impossible. We know who they do bend over for though, so no worries there & it's not terrorists this time, or is it?
there are a lot of people working to bring some kind of agreement between israeli and arabs this effort will succed because all the arab countries and israel now have iran to worry about and this will push them to reach an agreement. if that was not the case Tony Blair would not have taken the position and Dr Rice would not say syria has to be involved there are a lot of exterimists that don't like this as a matter of fact that is why Izhak Rabin was killed. it is just very important that there be a counter balance to these extremest anti peace groups on all side.
i just explained why i think there will be something on the table in my previous post. are you going to support Bush and Blair when they present their plan? does your support for israel includes wanting them to live in peace or you want the killing to continue.
And i explained that there are too many forces at play, the only way to obtain peace is to either leave the area or crush any enemies that want you dead. I don't really give a damn personally about the plan as i know it will fail, but i think it's worth a try & maybe when it doesn't pan out, people then can come up with another plan & another after that. Time will tell I don't support Israel, i believe they have a right to live there in peace though like any other country.

So you saying Israel should go to war with Germany? Israel did go after the Nazis, take Eichmann for example. The Germans made amends! Some of the top Nazi officials got executed in Germany! If the Arabs make amends, then peace is to follow.

there is a large number of israeli and palestanians who want peace except that unfortunatly just like we have the right wing loonies in us both of them have their own right wing loonies i am not saying the loonies will be converted but we must put up a fight for peace and stop the madness we must remove the religious right out of the power and restore sanity to all and try for peace

as i said it is impossible to go from war to friendship, happiness, trust and love. first they have to make a descision that they do not want to wage war with each other and the rest will come within 10-15 years. they know that it has to start sometime
Did you just state the obvious? or do you mean; Israel must let itself be attacked so they can be in peace? A peaceful solution is best all round for everyone, but if it really comes to the crunch & peace just doesn't work, then war is the only answer, personally i believe it's already reached that point long ago.
are you israeli or arab? who gave you the right to say they can not have peace or not. what makes you think you know how it is like to live in a situation like that. israel and palastanians almost made peace till a fanatic terrorist killed Rabin to stop it. now there is maybe another chance for peace if Dr Rice succeeds. as a matter of fact the peace always come after war and the killings.
I am beginning to wonder what collage professor teach our kids these days, they all come out bent on Israel saying that Israel should stop attacking palestinians. Who sends suicide bombers into where? Who lobs rockets randomly into where? Who wouldn't let who live if they come into "their terroritory"? Common sense seems to be well beyond the realm of teaching these days...
