... where do I go from here?

Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to market this ebook. It's an informative guide on how to skateboard- the first ebook on skateboarding, probably.

I'm thinking I need a website, an automatic email sender, some banner ads, a sales letter and a clickbank merchant account. Anything else? Does anyone know where I can get some of these services at a reasonable price?

Your help is very much appreciated! Thanks

Go to DP's BST section. You can get some reviews to put up and even make a few sales.

Did you consider trying ebay first? Also you are going to need a wy to advertise and drive targeted traffic to your site, as you allready know.

Write articles, write and share quality content on forums and just be creative.

Maybe for your autoresponder give on free chapter so they sign up for your list.

Keep us posted on your sales.

How much you selling it for?

mattcook620 has real good points here. Depends on how much you want to spend on marketing this ebook? You can have a nice designed created by http://designgururyan.com/ <-- he created many top selling ebook designs.

You want to browse around clickbank and see how others are promoting things but like mattcook said, setup autoresponders well as go to ebay start promoting it there.

Maybe you could consider doing a JV with someone who will design site and help you market it?

Or to create the site have a look for other skateboarding ebooks and see how they are being promoted. Pick the three best sites and rewrite to suit your ebook incorporating all the best bits and hopefully you will find something in your ebook that is unique and be able to emphazise that.

Then you could contact some sellers on eBay that sell skateboard related products and ask them to put a flyer in with the items they send out. You could either offer them a cut in profits or complimentary free copy.

Some ideas of the top of my head.

Wow great advice here. I thought about writing an ebook myself. You can read about this company (sold on sitepoint recently) so I'm not sure how new owner changes but it is really good concept/service they are offering.

    Good luck with your venture
