Stop Google Indexing

Hello,

I was just wondering how I can stop Google Engine indexing some of special parts of my website?

By using robot meta tags.

You can use a no index tag in the head of each page also

 

Could you please let me know how exactly a -robot meta tags- looks like?
I mean some how it should start with something and end with something. and I don't know how and what kind of file type.

setup a robots.txt and put inside

User-agent: *
Disallow: /

 

I often wondered what would happen if Gogle messed up and indexed its own serps.

like this link here http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=indexed&btnG=Search
And Googlebot comes sees this link then follows it and indexes this page.

 

Sometimes Google does mess up and indexes its own serps. Blackhats then get the serp pages ranked highly for buy viagra and make a fortune.
