Which directory script can I use for a BUSINESS directory?

OK, so I've used PHPLD once, but it's mainly geared towards websites. Is there any directory software that is, or can be modified to be a directory for businesses based on location?

    You should try www.phpmydirectory.com

I'd say is one of the best on the market when it comes to build a business directory

I am also looking for similar script or directory that will allow Wedding Vendors to post their info: (DJ's, Banquets, Cake, Photographers, etc )

And maybe even add Reviews by couples.

I'm looking at www.phpmydirectory.com. I've submitted a contact request to see if they can do this, but it looks very promising.

phpLynx was designed as a business directory script. It does other types of directories equally well but it was originally designed for business directories.

The script allows for submission of businesses that do not have a website - without adding any mods or changing the code.

It has a review function as well.

Could it be used to be a directory of one specific type of service provider? And instead of having categories, it lists by state/city?

Yes ... for example if you want to have a pizza directory and then list each pizza guy in each state or city ... it can do this! Play with their free demo to get a better idea.
