Fundraising for the benifit of a Six-year-old child suffering from Celebral Palsey

My friend's son has to undergo a major surgery this october.He is Six-year-old..

His Ailment:

So, I am collecting donations on his behalf. All the funds will be of use for him.
Funds from the DP members are going to help his family purchase home equipment that will assist with his recovery and intensive physio he will need to go through.

@blackwizard. I said what I think. I see no website about this or proof it might be treu. You suddenly add me on msn and start begging for money you put on YOUR paypal, not some account from someone who has it specially for her (I do not know the exact word) Look If this girl is ndeed verry sick than I would be one of the first to donate, I know how it feels since I have a son but don't play with my feelings.

I'm sorry if this is true.

But I don't trust these kind of things either, unless you have a prove, sorry. If you really need the money that bad it shouldn't be hard to find something to prove it.

Maybe I should clarify whats going on.

Basically I have two sons with Cerebral Palsy - Spastic Diplegia. The condition is a rare Genetic form which affects about 1 in 20,000 kids.

Recently my son saw his consultant and it was discovered his hips were 3/4 out of socket. He needs surgery to fix this to stop his hips dislocating.

On another forum I asked for ways/suggestions to help me raise funds for my son so I could make the time a bit easier for him. I didnt ask for direct donation, but since then a number of people have arranged various fund raising efforts for Ethan, which I am truely greatfull for.

I have been running a site for parents and carers of children with special needs for about 3 years called www.MySpecialChild.com and also ethan has his own blog www.EthanAllen.info.

P.S. I wasnt trying to raise money for the surgery, just something extra to make the weeks after the surgery a bit more bearable for him. He has 6 weeks of pretty intensive physio to go through.
