Please tell me what you think/ needs to be changed.

Let me first say this. I am a Noob when it comes to website and advertising and such. This website is just a way for me to have fun and earn a few litle bucks (20$ I have earned yesterday lol my first bucks). I have not much money to change stuff (like have a vbulletin forum.

If anybody has an Idea on how I can get more members then please tell me (I have around 120 visitors inc. bots a day). Any help is welcome

Ok in my opinion I think you need to widen the top banner and make it the width of the forum and thus reducing the height, this makes the forum higher in the page and is just better in terms of design. Get rid of all the buttons to other sites, if you have to have them, have them in a controlled table at the very bottom of the page. Realistically no one wants to see them and they don't add anything to your site....


otherwise you have the makings of a good forum... did you make $20 yesterday from this site? Thats pretty awesome going!

Wow. Great earnings for your first days. This site definitely has potential.

1) Switch to SMF. Its better than the forum you're using now and highly customizable. This, of course, is your choice

2) The logo at the top looks huge and too tall. Get one professionally designed (redders on this forum does good ones for like $8), and put it there. Make it as long as the table in the forum, but not as tall as your current one.

3) The marquee of the topsites is, I must say, a very smart idea. Its probably been thought of before, but in this use it doesn't hurt your site a bit imho.

4) The topsites at the bottom are all dissarranged. Either add them to your marquee, or put them in order in a table.

You could get some members by running a contest. 1 Random member wins $50 (2 days worth for you ), and you'll probably get like 100 members. Then you might want to get your site stumbled a lot, and promoted on all the other big Final Fantasy forums (sig link, post, etc). Just don't spam. Also get a lot of inbound links to increase your SERP.

Good site. Overall 6/10.

LOL my first day I started selling, website has been up for a while now.I like XMB and it wil stay as it is, the banner will be changed soon and the affliates below will be removed (the one's that do not work) or be put on the front page when that is done). That promoter would prob not work since most ff website's/forums do not allowe people with links of other ff site's in their siggy.

A contest you say?? hmm sounds good but won't that get me members who post stupid stuf? what I really need are treu ff fans who like to rp.

about the SEO sservices whell that does sounds interesting (saving money for it).

I know about computers?? ha ha ha not one bit to be honest, my comp is from the ice age and luckely I have good friends. Yes I know how to change button images and such but the rest is all giberish for me

 

$20 your first day?!? That's crazy good! Nice job! Keep it up and that's a $600 per month site. As far as design, I would throw some color in and widen the top banner.

 

lol I made 40 in total this week not much but enough to pay the website bills for a full year!! with the xtra money I am going to earn I will upgrade the forum and maybe purchase some help to get a hihger searchengine ranking.

 

Hey!! For a noobie ur doing really well... it takes a long time to learn this stuff.. only suggestion I have is the banner links on the bottom... if there is anyway to organize them a little better... maybe on three lines... all centered and try to put the big ones on the last line... just a suggestion... take care... Thanks I have had help. The affliates i did try to ARange but somehow they stay the way they are they are verry important for me cause they gain me almost all the traffic I have.
