Paypal has just helped proxymess to rip me off 199$

I did a site for him and delivered it and he opened a dispute against me and paypal kids just reversed the transaction and gave him the money back

I have sent them logs and screen shots from our messages (me and him) even the domain name has his paypal e-mail and his first and last name in the whois and his nick name that was mentioned in the transaction

All those facts can make it clear for anyone that I delivered him what was described in the messages and all of this but they just reversed the transaction without replying to my proofs

    screen shots in this link

    http://www.nowunblockmyspace.com/paypal-dispute/

Congratulations paypal for helping someone steal my money

    Congratulations proxymess for stealing me

Yeah, they just reversed the transaction without commenting on my proof

I do believe everything I posted above with screen shots leaves no doubt that the site was delivered as it should

but they have their own way to judge things

As if I was supposed to send the domain on a CD shipped with DHL

If you want to be serious get a solicitor to write a letter to paypal.
could even get some compensation money out of it.

Contact their host, and have their site shut down for using your legally protected design if they're implementing it. If they haven't paid for it, they can't use it... it's just like having a site shut down if they steal your content, and it's much easier to do than trying to deal with Paypal.

Not sure what do you mean ? they reversed the transaction and closed the dispute already

can I reopen it again ? I have nothing more to say - they have all what you can see in the link above

they are just stupid to realize what what I told them meant

I have sent throusands through paypal, does this mean I can open hundred disputes now and get any money back ?

This looks like kid play to me from the most used payment processor in the world

And I'll have to prove that I own the site since the buyer didn't pay for it ?

Why would it be me the one who will always to prove himself innocent ?

In the law of my country, the claimer has to give proofs not the other one

so he has to prove that he is claiming not me - I offered fool proof details about the whole thing but they just ignored me and gave him the money

great practice from such well known payment processor

I won't make any movement to get the money back because I now know they won't listen

but just wanted to share my experience so you guys do business and know the fact that you are not covered while there is a fact that the one who receives money is the one who pays paypal's fees ;)

That sucks. The problem is that paypal does not protect you unless you can provide shipping confirmation. They do not protect for digital products. I am surprised though that they gave him his money back so easy and quick. Normally there is a waiting period. Not much you can do because they state in their rules that digital products are covered.

People like him make DP members not want to deal with anyone unless they have a lot of itrade. Good luck in trying to get the money but I think you just bought an expensive lesson on being careful who you deal with.

As you can see. it was all done within 48 hours from opening the dispute to reversing the payment

Yeah they are serving the scammer so quick and giving him the perfect scamming experience

He will thank them back by scamming more people

I do believe that the common sense says that when someone takes opening disputes as a practice then they should be investigating him ;)

I lost 50 cents the other day due to Paypal's ignorance. Obviously, not a huge amount of money, but still, it proves your point that they don't look at both sides.

It's business; not a court of law, so yes, you'll have to prove your innocence. That's just life. I have to go after people who steal my work and publish it all the time. If you get into the creative services fields, get used to it, because it's going to happen from time to time. There are ways to stop them from using your content if it's not paid for. I told you how. You can choose to do it, or not to. But if you don't pursue them in some way and just leave it up to Paypal, then you kind of lose your right to complain about it. Paypal's been known to do things like that for ages, so it's really nothing new to begin with. And moving forward, have a legal contract drafted if you're providing something like this... something much more indisputable.

If you're honest and using Paypal, you lose.
Use Paypal only if you want to be dishonest...

You can use Paypal very effectively while remaining honest. You just can't use Paypal if you're going to be naive.

In several occasions I have read here PayPal protected scammers.
So maybe it is better that we all use Moneybookers.
