    Hi

I would like to share a fact that I noticed google just did some changes recently within last week. One of the websites that I have my backlink changed from PR5 to PR6. My websites is still PR4 but I see a huge jump in SERP for a my mojor targeted keywords. I jumped from page 6 to top of page 2.

Also, somone here said that a lot of FRESH new websites are temporarily listed towards the top of the index to give them some good startup.
I just noticed by looking at some competitors that their ranking dropped.

Just some facts I noticed. Did anybody notice anything similar?

I noticed one of my competitors who has always been ranked well (No1) for "keywordA" dropped to the second page. Maybe a Google Dance

yes I noticed something similar, some very strange results.
Sites that has very low number of backlinks showing in top10, they are not new sites but started to rank

I noticed a big change in my stats yesterday.
One of my sites was ranked #1, #2, #3, etc. on Google for many common keywords.
But today is not listed even on top 100 for most of them
Their Google traffic (thousands of visitors per day) was yesterday less than half.

I've seen significant changes in SERPs every day now for more than a month. At any given time, there can be 3 or 4 sets spread across the various DCs.

So, one particular site moving drastically does not surprise me. My guess is that G is trying a few new things, collecting click through data, applying that to site position, and then starting all over again.

I saw a roll back to what the results looked like a couple of months ago for some of the keywords that I watch.

Looks like PR5 here, too. Was it really PR6 before?

Might be just a fluctuation, I saw another reported just recently.

Smart PageRanks reports PR5 on all datacenters for John Chow, though.

Ok, then does this mean that an export is happening, or is it a single penalization? :p
