Anchor text is the visible and clickable hyperlinked text that would lead to other page.

Search engine adds weight to those text in an anchor text that's why it is part of on page optimization. Use your target keyword in your anchor..

Good example of it is your signature..

    here is the code:

    <a href="http://www.example.org"> Keywords Here</a>

Anchor text is the text found in between the opening and closing Link (a) tags. Example: in your signature the first link has anchor text of Networkcow.com and the second one has anchor text of Mymediascript.com.

It could mean you have 0 instances of your targeted keywords in the anchor text.

anchor text for relative key words is critical. are you sure there are no anchor text links in your site for the keyword phrases you are targeting?

I did not flood the metatags on this with anything other than relevant words and they all appear on the page. My page rank and traffic are nothing to complain about now but I want a jump whenever google decides to do there pagerank crawl again. Looking to improve. Thanks

I think the site analysis indicates that you should put your keywords in internal links within your website for improved ranking, i.e., links to subpages. This helps the SEs decide that you not only have info related to the keyword on the main page, but that there are further resources to explore at this site.
Using javascript for links will make it invisible to SE's, so make your links in HTML as above.
Hope this clears it up for you.

The analysis tool (unknown) has reported something incorrectly. Although you have used images to navigate with (not good), most of the links have anchor text.

They might have ment that there are no keyword/phrases in the anchor text.

sitename.com is not a good anchor txt.

Anchor text is simply the text link to your url. Using keywords that you would like to rank well for is what you should use as your anchor text.
