Xoom INDIA - help me!!!!!

    Xoom INDIA- help me!!!!!

    I dont waana give my account number to them
    also i dont have time to pick my payment

    what options i have?

    Check

    1) it comes home fast?
    2) it clears fast at any bank?
    3) have anyone tried it?

    You will get check from them within max. 3-4 days. It clears as normal check (2 days). So many indian DP members already tried it :)

    Yes they use blue dart as courier for check delivery.

    The best option i would recommend you is making a deposit in your bank account.
    It is the safest and most used technique and if you need help feel free to contact me

    best way is use bank deposit service i got money in my bank account in 15 hours its simply outstanding

    Yea, bank deposit is the best, IMO xoom is trusted site, I don't think there any problem to providing them the bank account number.

    There will be no problem at all in giving out your bank account number. Xoom uses SSL certificate. Very fast transactions

    Giving bank account to xoom is no offence i guess... as xoom is a bigggg payment system now.. & it is secured... & btw... what can one do by just getting ones bank a/c number ??? we login to our bank account online using our other customer id or net id & not the exact bank a/c number... So i guess nothing wrong in giving bank a/c number to xoom... I got payment in a day flat direct through ECS & it is really the fastestt..

    You really got money in 15 hrs :confused::confused:
    Are telling truth?Because XOOM take max of 24 hrs to AUTHORIZE The payment and after that it releases the funds to be deposited in the repective bank account.
    SO over all it takes max of 4 days i.e. 96 hrs for the money to get credited in your bank,but how is it possible that you got the money within 15 hrs. :confused:
    Really amazed! I did total 21 transactions with XOOM till now but never got my money so fast!

    Wizardgp: You are right about your concerns about giving account number. These days giving your name can also be an invitation to scam..:) Of course.. trusted sites like Paypal and Xoom is relatively safe, but you are right in your thinking.. better take no risk.

    I am going to do a Xoom transcation for the first time. The principle I am going to follow is to keep the minimum balance in my exposed bank account number. I plan to transfer funds immeditaely to another Bank account I have which will never be open to the any sites.

    Thought to share this thought with you so that you can follow the same principle...

    i have some problem's
    i wana clear some thoughts.
    1st XOOM can transfer money directly in to bank account ?

    if yes then i have account in "bank of baroda" , "State bank of India" , "ICICI" , "Panjab national bank" and "HDFC"

    which back will XOOM support and can able to transfer amount directally in to my account ?

    & 2nd

    How much will xoom charge for transfer amount from one country to another ?
