Who here are suffering from back pain?., I am suffering from this for the past 5 years. but now am doing some back exercise including yoga and am feeling better now., What exercise do u guyz do?
I used to have back pain couple of years back and I did yoga "Nag Asana" and that was an amazing exercise.I got rid of my back pain. Though I still feel pain sometimes (when I sit too long on my damn chair) but doing the above exercise relaxes me. Recommended Asana for Back Pain : Nag Asana
just join gym, or u can do push ups and pull ups at home and some exercise, it wont take more then 20-30 mins of time sometimes it gets boring to go to gym unless u have a gym at ur home.
I also experienced back pains before..Simple do it yourself exercises will help a lot to take it away.
One of my friend suffering from back pain so doctor adviced him few simple exercise and one medicine (volini tube). Hope it helps you.
I am going morning walk daily. Spend 20 to 30 min on exercise thats it. I am looking smart and have cool body figure
I just get a back massage regularly. I guess back pain is a sign of too much work and stress... --Joe
I go to a Naprapath. They're similar to Chiro's but they forucs more on your joints and soft tissues. I've had a bad back since I was 18 or so (I'm 31 now). And it got so bad that after walking 18 holes of golf, that I would be out of commission for a week....or at least not able to swing a club. So last year I started stretching for at least 30 minutes a day. 10 as soon as I wake up and 20 throughout the rest of the day. And more during an actual round of golf. I also started strengthening my back by doing sit-ups and using the reverse back machine at the gym. Doing all this did help considerably but my back would still be sore for about two hours after getting out of bed. Thus making a mess of the front nine of early morning rounds. Anyway, a few months ago I got an inversion table and I feel like I'm 17 again! I wake up and hang on it for a few minutes and then I do it again before I go to sleep. It's a MIRACLE!!!! I'd recommend anyone with a bad back and no blood pressure problems get one. This is the one I have: http://www.teeterhangups.com/products/f5000.html But there are a bunch of different ones out there.
I'm 27 and most days I feel like I'm 90... I had surgery back in May for a herniated disk...it sounds so dumb cuz so many many people seem to have this problem...my problem persisted for over a year, with my conditioning worsening until I woke up one morning and got to feel what its like to fry a nerve...from my L5 all the way to me heal. Reader's Digest version? well...couldn't move one square inch of my body for a good long time...went in for surgery 6 days later. I now have permanent nerve damage along my right side...but I gotta tell ya...compared to not being able to walk...I'm in a lot better shape now! Of course there really aren't any tests to tell for sure but my spine surgeon is pretty sure my ciatica nerve got brutally wounded by my disc(pre-surgery that is)...ie: partially severed nerve. fun shit. thats my story! years ago...people who had back surgery just were never the same. if you guys have chronic back pain...consider seeing a spine doc...they have come a long way and done a wonder with treatment. I have a lot of loss of strength but that will come back in time. As for treatments outside of surgery...I lived on hydrocodones and muscle relaxers (the latter of the two which did nothing for my condition) for almost 6months...prescribed by my doc...because they too could not ease the pain...chiro and PT did nothing!
Good to hear, man!! A friend of mine had a similar procedure and he was back playing golf and basketball within a few months. He just ices it after activities and it's fine.
I went home the same day of the procedure and was walking around ok within 3 days. strenuous activity, lifting and driving was about 6 weeks away for me. and there was some stiffness if one position for too long...but like i said...well worth it compared to the extreme amounts of pain! Amazing...how far we've come isn't it.
Indeed! Like you said, it used to be hit or miss. And if it was a miss, you'd be in worse shape than before you went in.
With no excersise for a while i can walk for around a hour without feeling back pain. but when doing yoga and all that i can get around 2 hours out of my back . I've had a back problem for around 10 years now.
My back hurts when I sit infront of the pc for too long, that is why I walk around every few hours of use so I won't strain my back.
