Hi there, A while ago I was converted from the PPC method to the revenue-share method with adult friend finder. I've seen another affiliate within adult friend finder (they have jewish friend finder etc) but I'm wondering, if I promote another type of adult friend finder site, will I automatically be put on the revenue share model, or will I be allowed to use the pay per click one? Thanks for any help. Matt
The other programs do not offer CPC. They offer cost per sale and revshare. You can contact me on AIM/YHOO at gmoneyff or ICQ at: 490-028-267 if you have any questions. You can also e-mail me at: gmoneyff@friendfinderinc.com. Hope that answers your question. Thank You, G$$$
Be warned. If you use one of their other programs that pay per signup they may do the same thing and convert you to revenue share. And they do it RETROACTIVELY. Which means they steal your earnings. They have done it to me twice. Search DP for other posts about this. This kind of thieving is beyond what some networks do when they claim leads are invalid. In this case they say they are valid but they just don't convert to paying members well enough. So they steal your earnings.
I understand what you are saying, though it does say in terms and conditions that they can basically take back any earnings if you aren't referring enough paying members etc. Gmoney, some of the programs pay per free sign up - would this still be possible after I was removed from the PPC program on adult friend finder? Thanks for the helpful replies.
I find it strange that AFF says that 1 in 20 uniques should become free members... I don't find that to be the case and I send pretty targeted traffic I think. Anyway I use the revenue sharing anyway so it doesn't effect me. I just wonder what other peoples uniques per free member ratios are.
I'm sure there are other programs like adult friend finder amongst their site - which pay you for bringing in free sign ups. Would I be allowed to join these programs do you think?
For all of the FriendFinder programs I have promoted the ratio is much less than 1 in 20 and my traffic is very targeted.
Yes, it does say that in their terms, but that doesn't make it anything less than stealing when they retroactively change your payout.
It is true that most of my sites with AFF links aren't about adult dating... Perhaps that's why I see a lower ratio. I have made a new blog specifically about AFF. I need to set the sub ID's so I can see how it's working in comparison. Forgot to do that.
Sorry for being late in this thread. Yes. We can probably offer you a custom payout for free members (if you can provide volume). Hit me up on AIM/Yahoo: gmoneyff
