Is there a way I can take an article written in Notepad and have the words counted? I know I can't count every word in Notepad and I can't use Word, etc. So is there a site I can do it on?
Out of curiousity why would you write in anything other than Word? The features that it offers for grammatical mistakes will help your writing.
I don't need help with my grammar, all I need is a place to write. Notepad works best for me. I do all my work on it.
Why what? Why you copied and pasted my entire post to meet the minimum amount of characters required to submit a post? Or why did you not just use the quote button?
Col, she mentioned in the opening post that she couldn't use Word Also try out the word counter on photomatt.net
Yes, sometimes Word can't be used.... http://spellcheck.net tells you how many words you have, also has "replace word with a word" option. Online editors: http://www.google.com/google-d-s/b1.html Google documents You can write an article and mail it in .doc, .html. or .pdf format. http://thinkfree.com Documents/sheets/presentation editor (like Word/Excell/Power point), it has good spell checker http://www.zoho.com/ Has a lot of features. May be slow on a slow connection.
