Price fixing is illegal in most countries so while if you're selling resale rights you can suggest a minimum resale price, you can't enforce one.

That makes me sad because I do sell alot of domain names on this forum. I am an honest member and would never in any way try to scam somebody.

Actually that is part of the reason why I joined the DNOA (Domain Name Owners Association), that way I can show my DNOA member seal in my threads to help prove my identity and that I am a reputable business man.

I hope that it helps members with your mind set to be more trusting of my sales posts and hopefully buy a name.

It took less than 30 minutes for a moderator to merge my posts but
I'm still without any response after reporting the illegal sale...

    I'm impressed !

    Didier

I have reported 2 unauthorized resellers of my product.

Still not response from DP mods !!!

    I can't believe that !!!

And what if someone sell Microsoft or Adobe products here ?
    No Mod would care ???

What's this place for ? A forum where thieves sell their stolen stuff ???

(I'm mad at DP, not at you.)

Now tell me, how to stop these thieves ?

the only way to stop them is to be vigilant.
pay attention to whom you plan on doing business with.
the majority of the members here are stand up people.
only a small percentage are scumbags.

Thank you for your participation, but that's not applicable in my case.

I have terminated a DP member reseller license
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=4495793
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=4579840&postcount=19

But now she ignores my emails and PM's, despite being online,
and still sell my product on several of her sites and here on DP.

This DP member hasn't bought a reseller license from me at first, as you can see here:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=464443
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=4470398&postcount=17

"Biz Opps did purchase the right to resell from Didier (after he/she had already been selling the product) and never gave proof of having resell rights in the beginning. They had been purchased from "someone else" (...)"

This DP member is a scammer. And DP don't care !

Report it to DP Scammers. If there is the right enough evidence, then it will be reported.

Well not everyone that's claimed a scammer is reported because some of it is he said she said, fake convos, etc. But if pages of people(where most of them aren't one post members) are claiming someone is a scammer, and sometimes the scammer doesn't even try to defend themselves or come back to the forum, then something is wrong.

There are other places to report scammers as well; Quick Buck Crew Blog, Quick Buck Crew Directory, DigitalPointers, and Digital Pointing.

I personally never been scammed on DP, but I know how it's like. Sometimes you can research to your hearts content, and find nothing wrong, but you still get scammed. That's life, but it is nice to warn others if there is valid proof.

Also an advice to others, be sure to check a member's itrader and past posts, even if the member has been around for along time, has thousands of posts, and hundreds of itrader. I know a member here who has thousands of posts and lots of itrader who scams some and not others, and also mostly wastes people's time by making offers and never responds to them. Beware of members like these. I can't post the member's name because I never done business with the person, and don't have good enough evidence.

reported to who, the scammer police? they don't exist.

the mods ain't gonna do shit, unless the person being reported does something else to warrant their attention.

these sites were created by DP users who are sick of the wrongdoing that takes places here. the only thing you can do to a scammer is to expose them, maybe a paypal enquiry will help get your money back.

but as for justice, there is none, don't fool yourselves.
