Make money off Spammers

Hey i have a phpbb forum and i have crazy mad spammers all over it.

Is there a way to make money off these leeches?

 

Sell there email addresses lol apart from that then probably not.

 

most of their email addresses are fake or set up purely to spam they can use hundereds of email addresses.

i had this same problem with spammers in my forum mostly putting up adult links.

Making money from them? I dont think so!
if it becomes to much of a problem best thing to do is set admin to approve accounts. and screen them yourself before approving them

 

You can't make money from them since they are bots. They don't view any of your ads at all. They're e-mail address's aren't even real, they only exist for the spam and then are gone. You can't make money from them.

How about the traffic driven to my forum from surfers. I can make money off of them!

Hire someone 24/24 and find some good plugins.

The only way would be to track them down and sue them. Unfortunately, you won't be able to track them down and they are probably in some backwards country where you can't pursue them legally.

 

Well, if its all spammers, redirect them to some shit site or porno or something. They're bots anyways.

 

Would be cool if you could make money off them I'd be rich by now if you could, I get like 10 fake accounts a day, not to mention the guest posters

Hmmm maybe mod the posting sequence so they have to look at ads first?

 

You need to change you captcha from the default one they give as well as make a button to put I am human or I am not human and the bots are made to go through phpbb default sign-ups and will leave your site alone.

 

People saying you can't make a single cent from spam is simply ignorant. I have made money off of spam in my inbox, in fact it paid for about 15% of a new SUV last year with adsense. So yeah, you can, I don't know about forums, but for inbox emails, oh yeah, lowly but surely.

You can actually make money from everything lol it just depends on where/how you are marketing it.

 

If you have a problem with spammers. Make those special questions on sign up. It should prevent about 60% of spammers.

 

the best thing to do would be to add a captcha.
that way you stop all bots.
You can spot the others easily
