Up for sale is this highly profitable online text-based MMORPG.

Criminal Fire is an online criminal game in which the user builds up a criminal character, joins gangs and competes in the criminal underworld for fame and fortune.

The game was launched in March of this year and since then has gone onto be very successful with the following member base to date:

Criminal Fire was originally designed to use the McCodes engine, but since the start the game has been completely customized and modified. There are umpteen additions, modifications and changes to make it barely recognisable from any other games using the same engine.

The game is at a stage where somebody with marketing knowledge and webmaster experience needs to take it onto the next level. The potential is absolutely huge and all revenue received has been with absolutely zero marketing effort.

Please note that this has been achieved through ZERO marketing. This is completely word of mouth.

Revenue

In the last 3 months (June to August), the game has earned a total of $888.50 through in-game item sales. Breakdown is as follows:

June: $460
July: $176.50
August: $252

There is massive scope to add advertising and/or affiliate reward schemes to make further revenue.

History

I took over the game at the end of May (it was originally called Criminal Vengeance) and since that time have made the following changes:

- Commissioned a complete professional re-design of the game and the front-end (cost $400)
- Had a professional Flash intro design for home page.
- Added a new forum (licensed) to the front end
- Have made a zillion modifications, bug fixes and additions.
- Renamed the game ‘Criminal Fire’ as it was a little more marketable.

Hosting

The game is currently hosted on my dedicated server, but this will be moved upon the purchaser’s request to their own hosting account at no extra charge. Being a text game, it uses surprisingly little hosting space and a shared hosting package could cope easily.


Reason For Sale

My business commitments are becoming such that I simply cannot do the game justice any more, and it has slipped slightly over the last few weeks (also due to a 2 week holiday).
