I am not asking for your pity, I am asking were your prop bet would lie? You don't have to answer.

you are asking irrelevant questions. I don't care either way. You just launched into this little vein to avoid the actual issue he raised. So, while you think you have a good point, you are just looking kinda stupid right now.

What actual issue would that be I am avoiding? GT proposition of me claiming I defend America? That is exactly what this is. I am sure he will not take the fact that my defense of America (as responding in this little forum goes) is to demonstrate the problems our current government policies are causing this country. He wants a post of me cheering the current president, his administration and their policies. That is just silly because the current administration is traitorous(the previous administration may have been also but not to the grand scale this one is).

So lets compare a concrete subject like our military careers.
(btw I don't blame you for not revealing which side you would bet on)

Actually, he specifically asked for a post where you support this country. You don't have to give up on your case of BDS to do so. You may see it as such, but its really not the case.

And that you've spent almost 3 pages looking silly dodging the question just makes ya look bad. It's almost humorous that you can't take the 10 seconds to show where's wrong, though. I mean, come on dude. $50 or $100, I'd spend the time to make the guy look silly, wouldn't you?

How do you define supporting this country? Is actually serving in the military or public office counts or is it only being a cheerleader means that you are supporting this country?

It seems in Gtech world, people who actually fought for their country or even serve in U.S. senate are traitors and don't defend their country while a bunch of sissy cheerleaders are the great "defender" of the country.

He is not asking me. I have posted here about veteran rights and service at the VA, the problems with how abu ghraib soldiers were scapegoated and how veterans needed to be treated better at Walter Reid. I also constantly post on how we need to end the war and bring the soldiers back home. I have shown how soldiers are now supporting Ron Paul campaign with donations more than other candidates.

Of course none of this falls into GT limited vision of defending America. And like I said he is not asking me.

This is where I'd point you your favorite tool, the dictionary, gworld. Let me know if you need help further. I'd personally suggest you go back to the original deflection post before you latch yourself onto a position that's pretty indefensible.

I think you already know the answer to this. Don't be obtuse. If you read the context of the thread, gtech made it clear what he's lookin for. Give it a shot.

So you are really saying that in 668 posts you haven't said a single nice thing about this country. "hey that hot dog at the ball game was good" you are looking at this from this grandiose scale, when pretty much anything like that would fall into the category, don't ya think? So, by that standard. Is there anything you'd like to point to, yet?

Of course he is. He made the bet after you posted this sentence:
Yet you have spent 4 pages trying to not back up with things you've actually written to back up the statement.

Take a step back for a second - imagine if someone else were in this position besides yourself. Doesn't that seem just the slightest bit silly to you - that they'd make a claim "I always do this" "prove it" (delay...delay...delay). Doesn't that person look kinda like an ass? Just a little. You know he does. Come on. What's even more comedic is how often this works too. The person never "proves" their assertion and gtech laughs. If I were you, I'd spend a few moments so gtech wouldn't look so smug.

I didn't say John Kerry was a traitor.

What I said was that he spit on America.

He also threw his medals like A Girl into the street.

Wasn't it actually someone else's medals?

    http://www.slate.com/id/2087554/

So he was for throwing his own medals, before he was against it.

Hot dog and a ball game?? What the fvck are you talking about?

The ridiculous part of GT's proposition is that is is completely under his Discretion. I have said it many times that I believe him and ilk like him are the real traitors here.

I will give you one example:

A recent thread about the bait and shoot policy. GT found the need top protect the soldiers because of this. The problem is soldiers don't do things like this on their own. GT already made the inference that the soldiers needed protection from being persecuted.

The problem with this is the people that made this policy create this type of scapegoating propaganda as well. They pretend that they are protecting the individual soldier when in actuality they are pinning down blame in the public opinion. Just as abu garib went down, so will this will as well. A few soldiers will be scapegoated while the villains sneak away. GT is in the business of protecting the villains......I am not.

Whether he does this intentionally or not, you pick you brand of "patriotism".

That's fine. Gripe with gtech all you want; but that doesn't take away from the point he's making here.

    Don't understand the example?

I thought it was pretty obvious; but again you deflected. You think that he's looking for something that says you support bush. Your BDS can stay in tact and still find something nice about the country. Or not...

Which, really, just re-enforces the point he was making. I really think you are being purposefully obtuse again here, much like yesterday. Cuz you really don't have anything to add. So you bicker about nothing.

Haven't you noticed how much of a loser JK is by melting into the shadows after his defeat. This was definitely a good choice for him.

BTW, he has always been labeled a traitor.

The best picture was after the 2004 election when the "major" democrats were holding a press conference. There was a picture of Kerry standing like a dufus in the background, trying to get in on the shot, but he was never invited LOL

And I found it. Man I'm good :D

Last time I checked soldiers, vets and the VA have everything to do do with this country. However having a hot dog at a ball game, has everything to do with something I don't bother posting on any message board. The goal posts are limited indeed. But again it is not a challenge made to me. If it was I would go a few posts down a get me defending the soldiers.......of course it aint hot dogs and a ball game......

I don't understand the idiocy of some of the early postings of this thread. How can picking up det cord help a person's life other than to help those that are trying to maim or kill the military of the greatest country in the world.
