Still nothing to counter my comments with? I do thank you though, for proving my point for me and illustrating the type of people that support Ron Paul.

Your comments are simply to derail this thread......what did you do in your 3 years in the Army GT?

Attempting to derail the thread again, akula? Stay on topic. I offered comments, you've refused to counter.

Can I have two lumps of sugar with that hypocrisy?

Still waiting for you to offer something. So far, you offered four words in the original post, and have been crying ever since.

    Not man enough?

Still attempting to derail the thread? This is what you offer, when you can't stand behind the very thread you created?

Someone needs a visit with Steve-O!

i just wanted to try to reduce your anxiety about iranians nuclear capability
every time i see your big evil nuclear iran i feel for you
but i must let you know that at this point i can go along with the surge as a real political change is happening in iraq and from ground up. we must give it a chance.but i reserve the right to change my mind if the situation deteriorates

It's interesting that Generals outside the system, with little personal to gain step up to criticize policy. Unfortunately, GWB used Petraeus as a political shield, hiding behind the man's uniform.

When Congress deserved an update on the war, Bush should have delivered it as the Commander in Chief. He is the one deploying the troops and defining policy. He is the one with the highest levels of access militarily and diplomatically. He is the one who is most gung-ho and optimistic about this war.

Of course, unlike General Petraeus or these retired Generals, Bush is a chickenhawk, having never served one day in a war zone. He's always been shrouded in a layer of privilege and security.

I'm proud of everyone who serves in the military, and obeys their obligation to the Constitution. But I'm particularly proud of the veterans who have seen the horrors of war, who have fought for the defense of American against enormous enemies, and risk their reputations and friendships to offer honest opinions on policy. These men are heroes as much as any other American.

Heroes. Will history remember Bush as a hero?

They go out of their way to make my point for me. The dishonesty of Ron Paul supporters never ceases to amaze me. I point it out, and they walk right up and prove me right.

What Gtech hints at but doesn't dare to say:

"They are Generals and not ex-corporals that know everything and since they are against this war then they must be anti-American and pro-terrorist".

In other words, you don't feel for me very often? I can live with that.

This is actually your problem. I don't advocate war with Iran. I'm neither for, nor against it. In your case, you are so much against it, that you willfully choose to ignore very serious issues taking place with Iran.

I often make the assertion that you don't have to love Bush to stand up for America. Of course, many here are not bright enough to comprehend that.

The same can be said here. You don't have to be for, or against war with Iran, to be aware of the evil they are doing.

Hanging people for the crime of being gay is not a reason to go to war. Killing our soldiers? Perhaps. But some will turn a blind eye and give him a pass for that.

We need to invite Steve-O to the forum here. There's a lot of people in dire need of dewussification.

I suppose people think that Chuck Hagel has sold out his country as well.
