Hi, I will be sending a mail to Google via snail mail for some very private concerns. Who has a same experience in writing a mail to Google? Did they answer you?
Well, i sent them a letter few months ago, it was via Registered mail (so i can confirm they've received it) and the actual letter was addressed to the Local google branch not the US (main) branch. it took them 5 weeks, but they have sent me back answer, it was more of a general template-like answer, but they did respond.
Not really. I am corresponding with a Google rep for a few weeks now on some of my concerns. Only the first reply was canned. However, you can expect to only get a reply once to twice a week.
I tried once... sent it via express mail and they got the mail within 1 week.. They sent a reply to my letter via my email as displayed in the letter. It was not a canned response and it was not a common email address. The response was from a certain employee who assited me for my concern. My concern was my site being banned etc by mistake. But now you can use Google's webmasters tools for communicating with Google now, unlike those days before when these kinds of resources aren't available and it was very hard to contact Google.
Unlike now, before there was no webmaster tools in Google and emailing Google the old days was like adding your email to millions of emails Google receives... The email address is simply which still do exists up until now and you can email them there. Also, I want my intent to be taken seriously and me proving to them that I am very serious about my letter as I did not just wrote it formally in a business letter format but also willing to pay more than 2,000 Pesos or more than USD$40 for an express mail.
I think they will response to those who sent mail but maybe it took for several days. Google will be open on some comments and concerns because they want to improve more on their services. This is the way on how they know the concern of their customers.
