    Hi All,

I'm new here and with Adwords. I'm finding it a bit confusing so I'd like to have a good read so can anyone here suggest a good Adwords book?

    Thanks

    Sarah

I found the learning center to be the best place to start. After all 99% of ebooks are written using the information found there. Here's the link again in case you missed it:

    Hey Sarah.

I agree with atrain, look through Google's own learning center. They have all the basic information to get you started.

If you are looking for a paid solution, the one I would recommend is Perry Marshall's Definite Guide to Google Adwords.

I brought it a few months back and found that it was very informative. Not sure about now...but you may be present with 3 packages. Just go for the lowest cost package. About $47 if I did not remember wrongly.

Perry's book is more for those who really want to specialize in it. Another plus point for the book is that it has some case studies on the various ways to market your site on adwords.

But seriously, go through Google's own learning center first. A lot of the stuff which I learned in Perry Marshall's book is available at their learning center for free.

If you new to internet marketing...I suggest you don't touch Adwords. Tried adwords some time back...did not manage to get it working for me.

Try out those marketing techniques which are simpler and don't cost much. Like article marketing...SEO...it takes a while, but it's free and gives you the experience with using keywords which you will need when playing with Adwords. Just my opinion. ;)

    Hope that helps! :)

Perry Marshall's books are really good for writing compelling ad copy but if you really want to get good at Adwords, find some top posters on this forum and all the other forums and start reading through every post of theirs. If you do that you'll have a real good start.

If you are new to adwords I'd suggest Perry Marshall's book ...

However, there are a ton of free resources on learning adwords without spending money. A lot of it though is trial and error ...
