Hello I received a mail today because I have made an infraction to DP's forums chart. OK, I probably did a little too much, I admit, and will not do it any more. what are 'points' what will happen if I have some, I do not understand. Trouble, when examining cautionously the list of infractions done, I saw 5 points for spamming in private messages. Strange, I did not send private messages here since July 6th so how can I receive a ticket for this reason. Thanks for help
It's just a way for the staff to tell you what not to do. Acquire 10 red infractions and get banned. You don't get PMs when you get an infraction. You need to check "Receive Infraction Notifications" in your UCP, under Edit Options. Oh and you don't receive reasons for old infractions so you won't get the one you're asking about but from here on out you'll receive notices.
You should report those issues to the mods. They only can tell you the proper reasons.. I guess your account might be hacked and somebody sent spam PM s from your account. Change your pass immediately.
No need to report it when you can see the reason in your UCP. Most times, there won't even be a detailed reason.
And what happens with my posts on infraction ?? do they remain visible to other viewers ?? or is it just like infraction notification, they are visible only for admins and myself ??????
Nobody other than the admin team and yourself will know which posts you received an infraction for - unless you tell them of course.
