Yeah I wasnt very impressed by Wordpress, I have been trying to get joomla working.

 

Yea it looks like just standard procedure but what about database info ?

oh for crying out loud...they are not spying..they simply get info on your WP version and plugins to make it easier for newbies to upgrade...I'm no newbie so for me it didn't matter...having said that, I have upgraded to Wordpress 2.3 with very little problems and it is very stable.
Don't believe that lie!

lol...I'm sure they got a lot of flack for posting that...I'm glad they corrected it
