    Register your site in Google Webmaster central, and tell me if you see the links there. Quite often they'll be indexed, but not shown publicly

    Backlinks are updated periodically. It takes time for them to appear.

    No, clicking the links won't cause them to be indexed. Google just needs to crawl their site

    I heard that inbound links are also in the update process in order to be indexed when you check your backlinks. they say that when the inbound links updates, then next follows the PR update.

    The same thing is happening to my site too. Even though I have a lot of backlinks to my site, when I do a link:mysite.com it doesn't show any.

    I'm guessing that Google has not done the PR or backlinks update yet.

    Google is constantly doing PR and backlink updates. You need to sign up with the Google webmaster tools to get a full(er) list of backlinks. The link was posted up the thread a ways.

    and 200k for internals.
