how do i select my hosting at godaddy?

    hey i have a domain at godaddy,and i want to use quotaless as my web hosting(as its free) how do i do this?

    Go daddy is at times confusing... if you are not able to get through your prob do drop a mail to the helpdesk at godaddy. they are at least pretty good at replying if not creating user friendly inner pages.

    You need to signup with the web host. Then assuming your domain is registered with GoDaddy, sign in to your godaddy account and point your DNS nameservers to the ones provided by your web host.

    i have an account with the webhost and go daddy could you possibly go through the next bit step by step/what you you mean points your dns nameservers

    ok, heres how you do it, i am assuming your webhosts nameservers are ns1.webhost.com and ns2.webhost.com (Replace this with your web hosts nameservers, if you don't know ask your webhost)

    step 1 : log into your godaddy account
    step 2 : select my domain names from the domains drop down menu option given at the top
    step 3 : click on the domain name for which you want to change nameservers from domain name list
    step 4 : now on the next page select nameservers menu option given at the top
    step 5 : finally change the current nameservers in the text boxes labeled nameserver1 & nameserver 2 to the new nameservers and apply the changes
