A while back, I remember reading that Google would no longer allow AdSense ads to be posted on pages that contained videos (such as embedded YouTube videos) and photo images, due to potential copyright violation issues. Now, however, when I read their program policies, the policy is no longer as cut-and-dried anymore with respect to videos and photos. Also, I notice that I see plenty of sites using embedded YouTube videos with AdSense ad units on the same page. Anyone know the answer for sure? I have a site where I use pop-up windows to display embedded videos, but I'd like to include them on my site without having to use the pop-up windows.
send adsense support the url for some of those sites, and ask if it's o.k. for you to do the same thing. please let us know what they say.
I think it's just the Youtube scrapers that are getting hit. Regular video sites appear to be ok with Adsense.
its allowed , but shouldn't allowed copyrighted videos , pictures , content , designs , software, mp3 ... whatever just look at www.metacafe.com still going with videos nothing happened because they always deleting copyrighted materials
If you don't have a license for those videos and are allowing people to download them, then you are violating the AdSense policies.
Thank goodness, all of the copyrighted stuff is gone from Youtube: no more songs, TV clips, movies, or... say... wait a minute....
