Xp or vista

Still i like xp then vista because vista is very much a noob also a lot of bugs.Hopefully it will be great to use not less than 1 year or more!

 

11 of my computers use XP, and 1 of them use Windows 2000.

 

I guess that means you like xp lol

I use vista but I miss XP. It's slow it's full of bugs, and it's slow

 

Vista works fine for me.

 

I agree especially with the slow part

 

XP, vista runs on my crappy PC very slow

 

im still on xp pro so ill stay with it awhile longer

 

I prefer Windows XP over Vista
I may appreciate vista more if my laptop wasn't those cheapy 400 or less that comes pre installed w/ vista. Anyways Xp is all I need even if I had the option I wouldn't pay to upgrade to vista. I find it easier to work with XP than vista

 

I like Vista and I got an express upgrade to it. Works fine on my cheap laptop.

 

I like XP vista more requirements needed, also i am very familiar with XP now, may be thats the case i didnt like VISTA

 

Vista is the worst operating system I've ever encountered.

To refer to it as a 'resource hog' is a major understatement.

EVERYTHING - even simple desktop navigation - takes longer (wait time) and seems to involve more mouse-clicks...getting to the task manager, for example.

I downloaded every so-called 'fix' and 'update' from Microsoft, but nothing improved my machines' performance. I bought 3 separate Vista computers within about a month and finally, I couldn't take it anymore, so I had it removed from all 3. The disappointing part is that it's so embedded in the HP machines that it's taken me quite a while to locate all the drivers I lost when the OS was wiped out.

Now, all my machines are running along happily with XP.

 

I currently have 512 ddr2 running at 667mhz I believe. Its a nice machine I love it for what I use it for It does lag sometimes when I am opening files and doing stuff but its not too bad. Ram is cheap these days well the ddr2 are I am just waiting on one of those rebate deals for another pair of 512 and this baby will run smooth!

 

XP here. When vista hits SP1 I may give it another try, but XP is still working well for me.

 

I think XP is still better to use for me...
It's just so much easier and simpler to use..

Same with me but I am running 3gb of RAM

 

I hate vista because it crashed several times and I'm losing my works

So I'm back to XP, never crash again and faster
