Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

if PR fades away, Text Link Ads basically falls flat on it's face as that's why people buy ads there imo..

We all know google don't like TLA, and they've hit them in the SERPS, so perhaps this is a 'warning' or 'cold war' on google's part..

almost flexing it's muscles, saying look.. if we pull the plug, you die, so get your act together and stop making money off the back of our systems or else not only will be not update PR again, but we may pull it completely...

 

this is so dumb, if someone wants to sell text links on their site, they should be able too. Its not their fault Googles set up allows serps to be manipulated. Instead of pointing the finger at other sites, Google, should come up with some better ways to rank sites.

 

you can, google isn't the boss of the internet, you aren't forced to listen to them and they don't have allow your site on their listings

I even uninstalled the g toolbar.

 

THATS funny. All this time I thought it was Google making money off our backs.

 

Then don't use google, why are you guys mad at them when your the ones that choose to work in this industry and through google?

I checked a site of mine that was PR3 about 8 weeks ago and now it's PR5

Google stuffed up there because it really should of dropped to PR0/1

Very odd, and no it's not a glitch i've checked it using several tools and different browsers.

 

I dont. Google is only ~30% of my traffic and I search with Yahoo.

 

*Only* 30%? Dude 30% is a lot. Losing 30% of your income (or traffic) would cause most people to get another job, start another site, etc. Take action, regardless.

 

But I still have that 30%. And if google goes away I will get that 30% from somewhere else. Its not like 30% of the people on the internet will just quit one day.

But thats, er, good though isn't it? It could be a glitch with the toolbar, though I doubt that so it must be something to do with the update...or maybe Im just too hopeful for my own good...

 

Yeah it's good, and no it's not a glitch. I've checked it with a number of tools, and it was definately a PR3 at the end of July.

Now i wish i paid more attention to it so i had a better idea exactly when it jumped from a PR3 to a PR5.

 

Which one of your websites is this??

 

One of my sites EntireAccess.com went from PR3 to PR4 about 5-6 weeks ago.

This PR update DID happen for some sites already WEEKS AGO. You can see similar posts ith this thread verifying this.

 

i think time is Gone . Google is forgot to update page rank ??????????? because it's Already update the Backlink.

 

Contactusa yes i do realise a few sites had an increase in PR, however the difference with this is it didnt deserve any PR. It should of dropped like a rock not gone up.

Definate Google error.

 

My Google traffic on one of my sites is 90% and i get 3000 uniques per day.
