Epassporte Virtual Visa - Where can you use it?

Let's make a list of all websites where Epassporte's Virtual Visa card is accepted.

It worked for me at:
Amazon.com
Hostgator.com

And I know that many domain registrars will accept it.

 

I think it will be easier to list websites which don´t accept it as the card is for online use too and the number of sites which don´t accept it will be less then the number which accepts it.

My suggestion

 

Unfortunately MANY websites/processors will decline Epassporte virtual visa.

It will NOT work on:

paypal.com

 

It works at godaddy.com as well,

Well, I typically use it just as an ATM card since I have the physical card.

As for online usage, I use it to pay some charities and it worked. I paid futurehosting.biz for my webhosting and did not encounter any problems.

There are places which do not accept it because epassporte is issued from a country which is not the same as my home country.

I can confirm that I've successfully used the epassporte virtual visa for paypal in the past and as recently as yesterday. It lifted the withdrawal limit with no problem.

 

how did you get verify paypal with epassporte? I need to get verify my paypal

 

I'm in the US so there's a difference between lifting/raising the withdrawal limit and verifying. To "verify" a US account, you must add a bank accnt.

 

I've used yesterday virtual visa card from Epassporte on NameCheap.com without problems

I'm hating on EPass at the moment as they put a hold on my funds when a charge was declined at Kohl's online. Kohl's said try again and I did 3 times so three charges are held even though Kohl's sent a fax releasing the funds. EPass has very strict requirements for the release document. Anyway the VIsa wont work at Kohl's or Paypal but I heard from the CS rep that it works at Walmart. I'll try and post results.

 

For how long is the hold set ?

 

The hold is typically for 30 days but as long as the vendor fax to ePassporte to authorize the release, it can be done earlier. At least that was my experience.

 

It worked with Paypal before. I've used it to fund my Business account by purchasing items from my own 'Buy now' buttons, but that's not the option anymore because Paypal declines the transaction, but still takes $1 from my Epass account every time I try to use it.

So now that you have added the Epassporte card to your US Paypal account, is it possible to use it for sending money/purchasing stuff online?
