Is content really the king for generating traffic? What if I create 100 unique content every month. Will it DRAMATICALLY increase the traffic without SEO?
NO !! content is the "KING" for making money ... making ppl buy your stuff seo is all about keyword (inside the content tho) + quality links
You need promotion. And you need links. Just content wont get you anywhere if people dont get a way to visit your website. You could have the best content in the universe but if you dont have links no one will visit your website. SO this is what I'm saying LINKS LINKS LINKS!
Traffic would still depends on the quality of contents, the position on SERP and other sources of traffic. You can get traffic from social bookmarking but you still need SEO to improved your rankings. Its better if you can have good positioning on Search Engine.
It would seem that now days links are King, and content is Queen. You can have the greatest content ever, but if you dont have good links pointing to it, you won't be found.
I agree with what others have said. Putting links into the content helps with both new copy as well as links.
I hate the word "content". People act like "content" is something you can just turn on in your Wordpress admin. It is not. You need to create an exciting experience for your visitors. If you blow someone's mind, you win and you will rank. If you just slap up a boring story about what whatever, what do I care? It's as simple as this. If you can put something on your site that is worth linking to it, I'll link to it. Brandon
This is true. However... People will get bored and leave sometime. A year or 2 years. Just be honest, how many websites that you have been following from last year that still stick in your mind, not many right.
