Big decrease in the Backlinks!!!

Hello friends,
I have a very bad experience on today.
When I have checked my back links on the last week.Its showing more than 250.
But when I checked it on today, its really shocking that the total number of back links are only just above 50.
I don't know what was happened!!!

I checked it on the site named www.backlinkwatch.com

 

I've checked on www.submitexpress.com and i've remarked that, last week, almost same happened to me. I gained 250 links and lost them a few days after.

I do not believe that indexing methods from SE are accurate, and the programs used to check your links are also approximative. When i check my links on 5 minutes interval, sometimes, differences appear. This is only an indication, not a flawless data.

 

same thing happened to me..not just hundreds...ive lost a thousand on one of my pages...from 4000+ down to 3000+

but im trying to rebuild it with my articles and press releases. eventually it'll help.

It could be that it's just directories which have been dropped by G, have a look and see if there are less directories in your BL's. If that's the case they are probably gone forever and you will just have to look at other BL options for the future.

 

So its due to the disapproval of the directory links by the google?

 

I also noticed a drop of 300 about a week ago, no idea why though.

 

i have noticed a big increase on my backlinks.

It can be due to the paid link buying.You can better find mixed link building methods ?

just wanna ask where you guys check your backlinks? Im currently using Google Webmaster Tool. I found it quite nice and accurate if you are doing SEO on Google.

 

Correction my backlinks just jumped unexpectedly by 800.

 

Don't rely too much on SEO tools... They are not 100% accurate...

Backlinkwatch is always on updates sometimes it is down so why worry about it...

You can use other tools and compare it...

 

last month one of my sites went from 9800 to about 200, now its back up again, so I wouldn't worry too much. Although I shat my self at first.

The number of my backlinks on Yahoo's list dropped drastically a few days ago, but now it's suddenly back up to about what it was before.

I think there may have been a technical problem or glitch that caused this to happen to a lot of sites, but it appears that the problem has been corrected now.

 

I think y'all are spending too much time checking their backlinks ... (gotta go check mine just incase )

 

My back links are also increasing very slowly..
But I lost a lot of them...
