Blogging in Blogger and Earning in Adsense?

Is someone earning much in Adsense through blogging in Blogger? Or does it weigh much if I really buy a domain for my blog to generate a better income?

a lot of people do it. Someone here on dp does it for a living! The earnings he made is around $50/day..he lives in east europe so that is quite a lot in that region..
