awesome work.. I bet it feels good I tweaked my sales page last night and today I got some goods sales too. great day for all
I was in this field 2 years ago and failed terribly. I knew very little and was running my credit card very red on adwords. 2 years later I am really truly thinking of doing this again. This thread could serve as some inspiration, but I need to do some research first. Cant jump into the fire just like that. Landing pages, thats where i need to start.
Well you are doing this since January so... congrats. Once you started it,it's not hard.Which tools do you use?
Actually, I stopped for about 5 months and just jumped back in at the end of last month. But this time I jumped in and decided to go balls out on advertising. Needless to say, it's paying off. Oh, also-- I'm set to beat my $5000/mo goal if things keep going the way they are. Looks like I'll be hitting $6000 instead, so.. success! Tools? Google keywords and trends. Great things and couldn't do without them. Scott
What do you mean specifically my landing page? can you give me an example? (doesn't have to be yours) thanks
Thanks for the inspiration I do finish the book of Perry Marshall and I go for it too ! Good to know that your margin is 20% So when you are speaking about $5k or $6k, is it the figure of sales or is it the monthly margin target ?
Hi scott, would like to know if there are any issue with framing a page in conjunction with adwords ? will google scan your page and found that you are doing framing and give you a poor quality score for ur LP ? thanks Chris
19 pages for a monthly margin of $1000 ??? So when we make at least 5 times this margin, what can we say ??? *L*
That's a great question and one that I do not know the answer to. Perhaps someone else can fill us in on that.
Hah! No, if it were only $1000/month in profit, not many people would care. I'm talking about $6,000/mo in profit and ~$30,000 in sales. Scott
$6000 is no pocket change so I hope you don't take offense to this but 20% is a crappy profit margin. You should do some split testing with different landing pages, ads, headlines, etc and try to increase your ROI. Like I said I don't mean any offense it just seems that you could be making a lot more if you just started tweaking some things.
Don't worry, I have a plan. The reason my profit margin is so crappy right now is because I haven't 'tweaked' much of anything. On the advice of my friend who is doing much better than I, I am mainly building up my keyword base for a month. In fact, I'm lucky I'm profiting at all due to all the sheer volume of keywords I'm bidding on. At the end of the month, I will tweak and see how far I can push that profit margin.
