hey guys, without disclosing too much at the moment,I have an online store that I am building that sells tech gadgets. I will no doubt have the best prices online I have 5 employees, have hundreds of thousands in inventory in my warehouse i deal on ebay and have over 100,000 feedback so i know the business and competition well) I hired a SEO firm to work for me,and I will be signing up to price comparison sites such as shopping.com and pricegrabber.com Im very interested in joining CJ as a Advertiser and offer pretty decent commissions of about 7% on any sales that are made. ($5-$20)per item sold (i sell about 2-300 items per day on ebay) Do you guys think CJ can work well with my business. I don't care if u guy use black hat techniques, spam, adwords , etc... I may give out the CJ link here publicly if i do decide to join so I can take care of any questions/issues/or problems with my store. thanks
CJ would be a good match for you definitely. Electronics commissions are usually skimpy so if you offer 7% that's pretty impressive.
I figure that there will be dozens of people that would sign up to be advertisers for my company if I pay a pretty good commision and if they all try to drive traffic to me then I can at least get 1 sale per day from each one or do you think thats an optimistic view of CJ?
If you have a site that converts well and you pay more than others, people will promote you in place of whatever electronics they're currently promoting. One way the big earners find you is many affiliates sort the CJ advertisers list by earning bars. So if you're a 4-5 bar advertiser that means you're paying out a lot in commissions and more affiliates will jump on your program. Of course it's a chicken-egg thing, because you need affiliates in order to get that 4-5 bars. But you get what I mean.
thanks for the reply.. I dont mind the Initial fee of 2-3k on Cj but i was just hoping that that program is really worth it and can bring me at least 30++ sales per day from all the advertisers working for me..
