    $50 isn't a lot of money.
    You can barely pay for a 1-year hosting plan with this money.
    I would recommend that you start a free blog at blogger.com and use this money to buy links.

    As ablaye said, $50 isn't a lot and their recommendation is a good one.
    Or, look into putting your money in the bank. Seriously.
    Something like ING, which has no minimum and 4.3% apr.
